INVARIANTS IN LOW DIMENSIONAL TOPOLOGY

Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics,

Budapest, Hungary, June 16 - 21, 2003

The Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics, Hungarian Academy of Sciences will host a week long Workshop in cooperation with The Erdős Summer Institute, and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.

Aim and scope

The workshop will be organized around a minicourse given by Peter Ozsváth and Zoltán Szabó on the Heegaard-Floer invariants recently introduced by them. In addition, we plan to have lectures on topics closely related to low-dimensional topology (such as symplectic and contact topology, knot theory, Seiberg-Witten invariants).
